Update:
In light of recent developments regarding the ongoing coronavirus situation, we have made the unfortunate, but we feel necessary, decision to postpone ACE-Con 2020.
Our focus is, and always will be, delivering ACE-Con in a way which ensures the health and well-being of every individual involved. We have spent the last number of weeks liaising with the University, and planning around the guidelines set out by the NHS and Public Health Agency. We have until now felt that we would be able to deliver an event which, with adequate and appropriate provisions in place for cleaning and transmission prevention. This is no longer the case; we believe that it has now reached a stage where us running an event would be, at best, irresponsible, and at worst potentially dangerous for our more vulnerable attendees and members of society.
This decision was not taken lightly, but falls in line with official confirmation from the University tonight that all large public events on campus taking place will be postponed.
We are sure that many of you will be disappointed, for that we are sorry. We would like to especially thank our team of Directors, Managers and Volunteers for all of their efforts in planning and preparation, especially in the face of uncertainty over the event, and their commitment to making ACE-Con something truly special.
We are now focusing our efforts into rescheduling the event for a time which will be safe and suitable to do so. We do not currently have information to share with you regarding these dates, but will do in due course.
All current ticket holders will receive a full refund which we are currently processing via Eventbrite. We will also be putting plans into place to offer attendees who have purchased tickets a chance to purchase priority tickets for the rescheduled event. Artists and traders who have been allocated a space will also have the opportunity to sign up with preference when our new dates have been announced.
For now, thank you for your understanding, continue to follow the advice provided by our Health Service and NHS as they continue to work through an uncertain and evolving situation. Stay safe, and we’ll see you all soon.

We’re incredibly excited to be able to finally announce the very first ACE-Con! After months of hard work – and many still to come – we’re finally ready to share with all of you the dates (subject to final approval) for everyone to join us for a fantastic weekend of Anime, Cosplay and Entertainment.
We’ll have plenty of announcements to come as we get closer to the event (some sooner than you might think) so make sure to follow us to keep up to date with all the exciting news!
